The photos are design visualisations of the piece.
The ghats of Banaras at sunrise: the steps and temple spires in high relief, a gold-leaf sun low over the river, and the water in layered texture set with mother-of-pearl where the light hits it. Dried marigold petals float by the steps.
We will make it once and never repeat it. Every stage of the making is filmed, from the first pencil line to the last petal.

How bidding works

Place a bid
Type your amount (at least the next bid shown) with your name, phone and city. Your bid is a promise to buy at that amount if it wins. - 02
We confirm it on WhatsApp
Every bid is confirmed with you on WhatsApp before it counts. Confirmed bids show on this page with the first letter of the name and the city, never a number. - 03
Fixed steps
Each bid must beat the highest by ₹500 below ₹10,000, ₹1,000 up to ₹25,000, ₹2,000 up to ₹50,000 and ₹5,000 above that. - 04
A late bid adds time
A bid confirmed in the last 5 minutes moves the close 5 minutes later, so nobody wins by a last-second bid. - 05
The highest bid wins
When bidding closes, the piece goes to the highest confirmed bid at or above the reserve of ₹1,24,999. If the reserve isn't reached, the studio can choose not to sell. - 06
Pay as for any piece
15% books your piece, 35% is due as making begins, and 50% before dispatch. You pay Embossed Atelier through a Razorpay payment link (UPI, card or net banking), and we send a confirmation for every payment. - 07
Delivery and care
Delivery is charged separately: it depends on your location and the piece, and we confirm it on WhatsApp before you pay. The price includes the piece and its packing. Tell us on WhatsApp within 24 hours of delivery, with photos of the piece, the packaging, the shipping label and the damaged area, and we'll repair it.
